1. Indolipa thekkadiensis (Van Stalle, 1991) taxonomy

Indolipa thekkadiensis (Van Stalle, 1991) is currently considered as a valid taxon of species rank in the family Cixiidae Spinola, 1839 of the Fulgoromorpha. This species was first described by Van Stalle J. in 1991 in the following paper: Taxonomy of Indo-Malayan Pentastirini (Homoptera, Cixiidae). Bulletin de l'Institut Royal des Sciences Naturelles de Belgique, 61: 5-101.

It is currently classified in order Hemiptera Linné, 1758, suborder Fulgoromorpha Evans, 1946, superfamily Delphacoidea Leach, 1815, family Cixiidae Spinola, 1839, subfamily Cixiinae Spinola, 1839, tribe Pentastirini Emeljanov, 1971, subtribe Pentastirina Emeljanov, 1971, genus Indolipa Emeljanov, 2001.

Indolipa thekkadiensis is an extant taxon.
