1. Kinnara ochracea Liang, 2002 taxonomy
Kinnara ochracea Liang, 2002 is currently considered as a valid taxon of species rank in the family Kinnaridae Muir, 1925 of the Fulgoromorpha. This species was first described by Liang Ai-Ping in 2002 in the following paper: Seven new species of Kinnara Distant (Hemiptera: Fulgoroidea: Kinnaridae), with notes on antennal sensilla and wax glands. Zoological Studies, 41(4) : 388-402.
It is currently classified in order Hemiptera Linné, 1758, suborder Fulgoromorpha Evans, 1946, superfamily Fulgoroidea Latreille, 1807, family Kinnaridae Muir, 1925, subfamily Kinnarinae Muir, 1925, tribe Kinnarini Muir, 1925, genus Kinnara Distant, 1906.
Kinnara ochracea is an extant taxon.

According to the geographical TDWG standard (2001), Kinnara ochracea Liang, 2002 are known from the Oriental biogeographical region as defined by Wallace (1876). More precisely, they are distributed in the Oriental zoogeographic region as defined by Holt (2013).
